Apricots are full of beta-carotene and fiber, and can also help protect the heart and eyes. Raisins contain the trace mineral boron, which can improve bone health, especially in women with osteoporosis after menopause. Walnuts are high in phenols and vitamin E and should be consumed in whole form, including the skin for maximum benefit.
