Hamburger & Turkey Burger
Due to the high fat content of burger meats, and the main way to cook them is to fry them, I went without for a while. Then we got creative. Buy the leanest hamburger (usually 93/7) or the X-tra lean turkey burger, and boil the meat, drain the meat in a collander. Next put it in a sauce pot or fry pan to add your taco seasoning and water, or your Sloppy Joes sauce, etc. The majority of the fat will boil off the meat in the boiling stage. If the meat still looks to greasy after boiling it, then rinse it with water while it is still in the collander.
